OilWatchdog joins the nation’s long-haul truckers and chief consumer organizations to formally support a bill by Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) that would force the gasoline industry to sell gasoline adjusted for temperature. It would end the ripoff of of motorists who get less energy than they’ve paid for when gasoline expands, especially in the summer. OilWatchdog’s parent group, the Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights, has signed the letter along with Consumers Union, Public Citizen, the Consumer Federation of America, U.S. Public Interest Research Group and the Owner Operator Independent Truckers Association. The logos look powerful, all gathered at the top of the letter.
